A semester long project while attending MIAD, MIAD Bridge: Creative Community was a magazine issue to educate and engage with the community about the issue of urbanization and gentrification. It aimed to inform those that are just beginning to be more involved in their neighborhoods about the importance of nurturing a vibrant and inclusive creative community through stories told around the country. This issue of MIAD Bridge had a vision to encourage questioning of established standards, while decreasing the percentage of uneducated and under privileged residents and increasing socially responsible modernization. This magazine focused on Milwaukee neighborhoods to raise awareness in an area that has been hit hard with urbanization.
